TERA

If someone is interested in this game (and I know there are few) then You should take Your time and watch some streaming from current korean open beta which started 3 days ago.

Just to clerify this is korean beta so it's different than NA/EU version. There's more grind, less pvp, etc.
I think TERA deserves it's own topic anyway.

Well, I had a chance to play both and I can say that TERA has nothing to do with Aion (except few devs from old aion team).
TERA will be released in NA/EU around august, probably september.

i dont find the point to judge which game is better since they are both not released!
here is my opinion considering what i have seen in the trailers: TERRA seems MEAGRE , GW promising and i stop here

Hello after short break, gils and guys, if there's anyone who would like to test TERA this weekend let me know. I've got two more keys to spread for this weekend (friday 20.00 GMT - monday 8.00 GMT).

Level cap for this beta is set to 38 and You can create 3 character pers servers (there will be serven servers at least). You can choose between PvP and PvE server. If You'd like to know more feel free to ask me.

Tera started on May. First days of may if i remember well and looks really nice. I have tested it in EU server and im thinking about play when relase. It will depend from amount of payment ;p A few words from me about this title... looks good, sound good but pvp system is awesome

I was offering a key for this weekend beta... and no one responded.
Next EU beta weekend starts on 30th of march so probably tomorrow or in two days some websites will start beta key giveaway. I might probably get few keys for next beta if interested. Sometimes they offer beta access on facebook, last week they were giving away full access.
There's also possibility to buy mini-preorder for 5euro and You get access for all beta tests, head start, early name reservation, few items.

Tera's release day is set to 1st of may for US version and 3rd of may for EU version. What is more characters from OB are not wiped in US while they are in EU. OB starts 19 of april and will last for 3 days in US and 4 days in EU.
PvP system is fun as Frey said however for mass PvP You need tactics. And I mean a lot of tactics. It's all about teamwork, communication.

First You need to register at https://account.tera-europe.com/ (for US version it's https://account.enmasse.com/ ). When You get a key You put it in Your account (there's option on the right side "enter code"). There will appear option to download the game and it will download the launcher which has around 15mb, maybe more. When You launch it it will ask You for login and password to Your account and start checking the files (same like L2 launcher). Unfortunetly client is almost 30gb so You'll need some time to download it unless You have 100mb connection then there will be no problem for You. For ~10mb connection it should take around 7 hours to download because sometimes download speed drops to ~30kb without any reason.

Yeah You have to check different stores. The lowest prices I've seen so far You can find in polish stores. There were differences about 20 euro but right now prices went a bit up however it's still cheaper tho. empik.pl, ultima.pl and gram.pl have TERA copies for 110zl (tho empik had it even for 85 for some time). You should also check when You get the copy because some stores send the copy really late and You might miss the launch. Also not all of the online stores provide TERA with close beta access, head start and in game items.

I haven't bought my copy yet because I haven't decided what server will I play on. I've got a lot of friends on US servers but the only issue might be the ping here. It's really important if You want to participate in PvP. However You might have high ping but still there is no lag for You.

P.S.
As to what version will I buy, I'm actually thinking of buying both versions. EU for playing with my band and to experience better ping and US to play with my friends I met for those years.
